I want music to sound FANTASTIC. I want the sub(s) to hit hard, but above all else I dont want to be hearing high pitched tinny, shitty sounds when I play it loud.

I have an entire system already, but im just going to give it to my sister i think since Im not fond of the quality. its distorted, its tinny and scratchy...yuck.

I need info on a full, complete list of what it is I should buy for this to sound incredible. If the car makes any difference whatsoever, im thinking maybe a 350z or something similar.

if 1.5k is not enough, tell me so, and Ill save up a bit more and increase the budget. I dont want to cut corners

You need to decide on a car first. That determines the amount of room you have, the stock electrical capabilities and what size speakers you will need. And if you will need anything special like steering wheel control adapters.

hmm....well if we were to put all that aside.

Lets asume for the subwoofers 2x 12 inch, right? LEts assume ill get a 4 door car, with a large trunk instead. All cars need amps, wires, subs, a box for the subs, speakers, head unit ( I already have ) and what I'd like to know is the best I can get of all of these for the budget I have

without knowing the exact vehicle i can't do much for you on the door speakers and 4 channel amplifier.

and as patrick said you may run into alternator output problems depending on which car you use. so this is stuff we will have to get back to.

as for the subs and stuff.

the box will need to be custom made for them so probably start looking for local car audio shops for this.

and to be clear about the electrical system.
chances are if you are buying a car the stock electrical system won't be enough power if you go with the 1200watt amp and especially won't be enough with the 2200watt one.

on average a car is going to use 50-60amps normally with lights and stuff and you want at least 20% reserve usually.

so...
the 1200watt amp is going to need around 100amps regularly
the car is going to need around 55 regularly
then with new door speakers+4 channel amp you will need around 40 amps.

so at bare minimum you will need a 200amp alternator+a good battery in order to not have voltage drops.

a new alternator+battery will be around $500 most likely. so thats around $1700 just with subs/amp/wiring/box/alternator/battery.

chances are however you would be fine with a single SA series sub on a 750watt amp which helps your power situation.
