I have a stock battery in my 1999 Mitsubishi Galant. When I get enough cash I'll be upgrading to a Kinetik 1400. I'll be doing the Big 3 upgrade very soon.

Will I need to get new terminals when I do the Big 3? Positive and negative?

Do I need any extra parts for the battery when I do the Big 3?

Do I need to put in a fuse? Or can I just run it through the fuse box if applicable?

Forgive the disgusting corrosion and general nastiness of my battery. Every time I remove the power from my car it runs horrible for a few days (Shutting off at red lights, stop signs isnt too fun in the city...) while the computer re-learns w/e it has too. (might be wrong but that's my guess) So I'll just wait till I get a new battery or absolutely need remove the + and -

new high flow terminals not only help with power flow but they also make wiring a lot more clean and simple.

you will need a fuse on your amplifiers power wire and the wire going from your alternator to your battery.

there are products you can buy at your local auto parts store to apply to your terminals to prevent corrosion on your new stuff.

So all I need are positive and negative terminals, and a inline fuse for the big 3? What size fuse do should I get? My amp kit came with one for the power wire to amp.

the fuse for your alternator to terminal depends on the alternators regular load. if you don't want to put one its usually fine for daily use setups.

and aside from some zero gauge wiring all you need are the terminals and the optional fuse.

I just bought 6 feet of knukonceptz kolossus flek 0 gauge. Think it'll be enough?


And do you think this will work good enough? Ill obv buy two. I don't need multipul outputs correct? I don't see upgrading to more then one battery or amp any time soon.

not sure how 6 feet is going to work out. it varies vehicle to vehicle but 9ft is usually what people end up getting in my experience.
