My setup right now is a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D pushing a Rockford Fosgate T212D4.

Summery of my problem, skip reading if you must.
I've checked and rechecked everything and for some reason the sub isn't that loud. It's wired down to one ohm, and tested what its actually running at. The dude at the local audio shop says my exceptions are too high, there is nothing wrong with the sub and its plenty loud. I just for the hell of it hooked up my very first sub woofers, 2 sony Xplods and to my disbelief they pound harder then the T2, oh did I mention one of the Xplods has a good 2 inch flap cut out of the rubber surrounding the sub woofer and it still hits alright.

So, now I'm looking for 2 12's around 600 RMS each and a new ported box. My bother suggested RE Audio SE-X's. But I'm looking for major SPL, and I've heard those are mainly SQ. If I could get the best of both worlds that would be great. My budget is around 200 max for each sub, might consider putting out more money if I get an amazing warranty, etc. If repairing the T2 is an option then let me know.

How so? I need a good warranty and I don't think Sundown's have that great of one, no returning is voice coils go, etc. I'll be able to get 40$ off of the new Type Rs though with amazing warranty. But that's still 400 dollars for both.

reliability wise sundown subs almost never have problems. their warranty doesn't seem good because the only time the subs go bad is when someone does something stupid or wrong pretty much.

go either way you want but don't refuse sundown because of their warranty because its a non-issue.

The possibly of me frying one is slim to none considering each will get 600 rms and I hear they are very under-rated. But besides user error, there's always a chance at something going wrong. Ill definitely consider Sundown. I like how their SA reconing kits are only like 40$

This is all wishful thinking considering I some how need to get cash for a bunk T2, or just save up but that might take a while.

ya the recone availability alone is an easy decision maker if you have the budget for the sa series.

if the price is too high the ATRs will be fine alternatives.
