Since I already have the radio, maybe $500-1,000. If I'd have to spend a little more, I will.

I work at Best Buy, so my friend who is an installer will be doing the install.

Ok well most fj has amps with 10 Inch sub in rear..if you want to get really good base with a mid price speaker and be different from the usual speakers go with solo beric/ kicker..power acoustic amp that will give you nice base but if you don't want major base I'd go with pioneer 5 way 6by9 ....about 10 or more..you can get nice base from these if there in a right box amplified...fj has little to no rom soeither a sealed or small ported box will be best..do you have anything in mind?hit me up if you have any questions .
