have a mb quart 1.400 amp with a 350 rms 10" pioneer sub.
the sub is wired to the amp @ 2 ohms 400 rms
the amp is pushing out 50 rms over the sub. will i blow it? or am i looking at this wrong/assbackwards.

probably be best to do 4ohm load if the amps peak @ 2ohms

really wont matter, will sound better abit over powered. just make sure your amps tuned accordingly dont gotta live by the numbers on a piece of paper

Uh... TBH what is the PEAK of the subwoofer?
You really shouldnt blow it with that kind of power.
I mean I can run 1 8" 500 RMS sub @ 6500W and it handles it...
Then again sundown is quality

u can put what ever power to the sub u want, just really depends what kinda money u wanna spend right

haha yeah i got my JL w3 10" running off 200 more then its rated for

My subs sound better slightly overpowered. Many do.
