do you already have an aftermarket head unit?

with a 12 inch sub its going to cost a bit more than your budget. this is about $280 with shipping. if you need it to cost less you will need to go with a 10 inch sub.

I would spend the $10 extra and buy one of these instead of the pioneer sub

I wouldn't do it

I'd go with a Sundown E12, or an SSA Dcon12 paired with an audiopipe apsm1500. just wire it to 4 ohms

You also need to budget in an enclosure and wires. The enclosure will really be the determining factor if your system will be good or not.

you don't know anything about car audio so just get what i said.

the speaker and amp you linked are completely mismatched and jvc amps are useless.

that quart amp is decent?

Sub size doesn't matter, it's all in your enclosure

a good 8" sub tuned low will still hit lows. If you want lows, then that enclosure is not the way to go that he listed. Pre fab porteds are normally tuned high so you'll have no lows whatsoever.

I would up your budget a little bit tbh
