For anyone looking for a solid 5 channel and don't want to spend an arm and a leg this is the amplifier for you:

http://www.amazon.com/MB-Quart-ONX80-4-500-Performance/dp/tech-data/B00375LC6Q/ref=de_a_smtd

Does 80x4 @ 4 ohms and outputs 500wrms off the 5th channel so you can run all your door speakers and 1 subwoofer up to an Alpine Type R or CVR equivalent. (500rms obv) these do rated with clean power and good efficiency for $300 brand new you really can't beat it.

I'm posting this due to the amount of people wanting 5 channels, well look no further! :D the monoblock side supports 1/2/4 ohms and of course 4 channel side for 80x4 @ 4 ohms. I'm thinking about picking one of these up for the hell of it you can get it a bit cheaper from:

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_25335_MB_Quart_ONX480500.aspx

But I prefer Amazon, your choice though.

Doesn't really matter where you order from but imo Amazon is better than Sonic.

there is a spot on top of the double din dvds screen that says S.rtrv with 2 squares thats the option for those and on single dins Access it by holding olume knob in then scroll to "DM" or "DC" Something like that.
Obv the double dins capabilities are gonna be more noticeable but they both work great. It kinda works like an audiocontrol but not just for bass it warms everything up.

Oh you're talking about that yeah I know that option my headunit has it I keep it off though because it was clipping my system bad when I put it on anything else it almost seems like it acts as a bass boost, I probably wouldn't use it... Unless of course I'm using it wrong I just know I tried it once and it sounded bad like my system was on over-drive lol.

i have all boost at zero and bass is like -8, source feed +1 and Srtrv on 2 greens.
Sounds amazing and has a really nice sweet spot at around 23 volume, panels start moving, @ 27 windshield wipers start flopping and hurts to be around can't see ect

so apparently what it does is it makes converted formats sound more CD quality like hmmm... I guess I'll play with it I wish I knew more in-depth what it does because it seems to make my audio a lot louder with more distortion hmm.
