I have one RCA cable going from the front inputs on the head unit to my 4-channel amp, all the speakers are amped and playing but i was wondering what difference it would make if i were to hook up the rear input RCA channel to the amp as well with another set of RCAs.

You'd have control over balance and fade, right now your amp is taking your two channel input and making it four channels, so there is no way to change the balance and fade. And if you listen to music that alternates channels you're missing out on it.

u would have fade and a lil more voltage

Why would he buy a EQ if hes just running a second set of RCA's? Everyone around here that iv seen has ran three full sets of RCA's, one for front, one for back, and one for subs. Never seen anyone use one set for all four like here lol.

yea if i buy a eq im going to need even more rca's zz
i want one since its a nice addition and a easy install, but i just cant spend any more money right now lol.

still splits an audio signal up just like a deck u just dont have to scroll through settings and its way more accurate than +1 or -1 on each frequency of a decks eq

Actually im both now XD.

My speakers are all pretty high end minus the polk 6.5's in the door which were only like 120 bucks for the pair but still sound great.

The Fi btl series is natorious for sound smooth as hell in range up to 150 hz and right down to 15.

The system sounds outrageously clear now, but with a eq i might be able to tweek it slightly better (so far the head unit has proved to be pretty customizable).

We will see. Tmr is going to be 12 hours of straight work on the truck for prepping for SBN (oil change, getting the rca's, wash n stuff) so ill go with just rca's for now and worry about a eq at a later date.
