I have a few companies I trust, as alternators are very important and a badly built alt vs a good one makes a big difference.

Where would you all go for a new alternator for a 2.2 ext cab s10 1994.

Im a total of about 4600 watts.

sad enough, i had a deal on a 350 drop when i was doing it, but it was last minute and i didn't have the time or money left over to fall through.

With gas now im glad though only because its a daily, if it wasn't i would have no problem with it.

Dc power all day long, with a 270xp i dont drop below 14 volts full tilt at 2k rpms. Excessive amperage is rewound shit but cheap

Dc > Mechman > Iraggi > Singer > Excessive

I'm doing a v8 swap eventually. Til then ima put a 100 shot on a new 4.3 crate motor and see what kind of numbers it can make

I have seen many people running excessive but i didn't know if they were worth a shit or not.

Call DC and talk with kyle or stan they dont have all their products on their site and if they dont they often times can make it like they did mine.

Ok, how much do you think a 270 - 300 amp would cost on a 2.2 94 s10?
If its any more then 480, i would probably just go with the mechman.
