Looking for a fat sub 18 inch pushing 2000 rms to sit right in the middle of my trunk.
Should I go fi audio. Kicker?
Dc if possible. Or a serious recommendation.

and youll want dual 2 ohm so it will wire to 1ohm. or dual 1ohm if you have a .5ohm stable amp with the right power.

price range is the biggest issue. lots of brands are good but price range determines which of them you get.

Well I'm not spending more then 2k.

then look at all the ones in you price range. the SSA site has a ton of higher end stuff and FI is a good choice as well. there isn't a perfect choice because some are loud some are good sound quality and some are in the middle.

as for the amplifier SSA has a large selection of them as well.

there isn't going to be a perfect answer for any of this so go with what you feel comfortable paying for.

I just would appreciate something that pounds hard. Lasts a long time.
75% of the time ill be using it is when some crack head thinks his system is good cause his rattles.
Also ill be hosting a lot of cook outs. So I will be playing the music.
Every time I find an amp its overrated. So if you can find a setup that fits
