This is for a co worker. He is a senior in hs.
He just wants a setup that's cheap. Reliable and has a nice bump.

I have 2 links. Let me know if this would be worth him getting.

Would this be a good setup for his blazer?

I would say his limit is 400-500$ at max. He is looking to spend 150$ I told him
300-500$ is what you should look for as in a fun starter setup .
Suggestions welcomed

But if he is going with 2 subs. How exactly would I set them up for required rms and wattage?

I thought this would be running them over handling. My apologies.
But good news. My heads will be coming home soon.

I also am gonna get paid to install it. Will his stock alternator be good enough to keep his battery charged if I
Throw a toggle switch in for him?

not sure on the alternator part. if its a 100+amp alternator it should be fine.

Ok. I think it should be fine. If not. Couldn't I just run a power wire straight from the alternator to a secondary battery in the back?

a second battery won't really solve the long term problem it will just give you a bit more backup power that will only help short term voltage drops. if hes going to be using it regularly he needs an alternator that will keep up with the power draw.
