i assume you are wanting to do 2 of those subs at 2 ohm final? it would work but

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23875_MB-Quart-ONX1.1500D.html

would save you some money and give you some extra power. mbq is a better quality amplifier as well.

their final wiring ohm load is what you need to take into account.

2 of the dual 2ohm will wire to 2ohm or .5ohm(bad for most entry level amps)

2 of the dual 4ohm will wire to 1ohm or 4ohm(cuts power of the amp way down)

i had a buddy suggesting we try for 1200rms @ 2ohm for those subs

too much?

thats fine. thats 600rms each(factory suggested power) but they can safely handle 750 for daily use. if you have someone familiar with car audio they can probably tell you when they start distorting by ear and you just don't play them at that level and its fine.

ok, that MB Quart is maxed @ 1k for 2ohms, my budget for a amp is roughly 200

why would you run it at 2ohms? ohms=resistance so more resistance=less power for the same effort. and i would figure its actually more like 750@2ohm.

with the dual 4ohm subs you would run it at 1ohm and get about 1400rms watts so about 700 watts for each sub.

its fine i don't mind explaining stuff.

are you getting a box built locally or building it yourself?

also are you sure your electrical system can handle this much power drain?
