What would be the best chip to throw in my 2003 Eclipse gots.
Just looking for 300-350 HP with 300-450 torque.
Also would like to upgrade my head unit. I just can't find a easy to follow diagram of how
to remove my current factory head unit
Keep in mind I have infinity speakers.
I have head UNIS controls on my radio.

assuming you mean gs-t it only made 210hp stock and chips are worthless.

get a haynes manual from autozone it tells you how to do everything.

Gts* well I'm looking at a chip that would add 60-75 HP and 80 lbs of torque. Explain why they are useless

oh right they changed them around in that year model. but still they only make 210hp before drivetrain loss.

chips don't work. all they do is make your car use more fuel and you get maybe 1-2hp because of it.

leave it stock until you spend the time to learn enough to know better than stuff like this and then look into modification otherwise you'll only damage the engine.

well in order to see that kind of gains you'll need to turbo it which is going to cost a lot of money.

he just a mechanic or does he work at a performance shop?

He has worked at Ford which he has had his share of performance cars. Mustangs. Cobras etc. He knows people that could help out also.

well keep in mind its not really worth messing with if this is your daily driver. its going to take boosting it+support mods just to break 300hp. you'll end up spending as much as the car is worth just making it on par with an ls1 camaro stock.

Chips dont do much. But getting a chipped ecu allows it to be tuned a lot easier.

Just boost it with a small turbo. Easy 250fwhp.

Also. Im thinking about getting new infinity car speakers then hooking a 4 channel amp to them.
Any suggestions
