I have a 2008 Acura TL and I want to put a nicer sound system in than what comes stock. I love Bose and would love to set up an amp/box kit in the trunk. Looking for some advice/links/suggestions please

Not much you can do for only a 500$ budget
--you can replace mids and highs though.

Audiopipe 1500.1D:

Dayon 12" HO 600rms SVC 4 ohm:
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-466
The amplifier does 600@ 4 ohm & 1000 @ 2 ohms so if you decide to you can get a 2nd Dayon 12" HO to use with the same amplifier.
This should be a SOLID SQL build and should yield great results build a box that's 1.2ft^3 tuned to 35hz or I can design you one for cheap. (50fg?)
Some will complain about your not running 1 ohm but personally this is less demanding on your Electrical so you should be able to run 4/2 ohms easily.

That's $500 and if you need Wiring ($25 kit):

A box should only cost about $40 to build... I'll write you up a design if you please with a cut sheet so all you have to do it bring it to home depot for them to cut. Use .75" MDF.

once again you post bullcrap because you don't use your brain. you realize those 6.5s are midwoofers right? you buy the tweeters separately for $30 a pair.
70db s-t-n ratio...why would you even recommend that? even brands like lanzar have better signal quality.
and 4 ohms is easier on your electrical system? 4 ohms is not only making your alternator do more work for the less watts but its also a waste of money to buy a high power amp and run it at the most restricted setting.
before you spout of anymore misinformation take the time to think it over a good 20 minutes because im tired of correcting you.

there is nothing to argue. telling a guy to get lows, mids, no highs is retarded.

I'd have to agree. Gotta have highs to back up your lows.
