Finally ordered 20' of blue 4 gauge ultra flex. Rewiring front to back, so fucking excited.
As soon as my aluminum Autobots emblems arrive, I rewire, and my boy Charlie names the Malibu
something amazing I'll finally be posting some flex videos. I still need to upgrade my stock speakers,
but after a year I'm finally nearly finished!
Build:
2 x 12" 4 Ohm DVC ATR (500 RMS model)
1500.1D Hifonics (Subs are wired@1 Ohm)
Kenwood head unit (Model escapes me)
130A ANL Fuse in heat resistant holder (Just got this, sick of shitty fuses/holders)
Easy mount iPhone 4 (Will never live without this again)
Recently discovered that it really does lower power issues ditching the capacitor. My voltage drops are
manageable until I can afford the labor on my big three. I'm stalling on this because it will be the
first thing I didn't do myself in this build. My alternator is next to my fucking oil pan.
Also, the whole Transformers thing? I have a four year old son named Charlie, and he actually asked
me if we could get a Transformers car. I told him we can pretend the Malibu was one, and that he got
to name it. I'm only debadging the grill and trunk and replacing them with red aluminum Autobots
emblems and using the same to cover the steering wheel emblem. I'm sure it's close to rice, but it's
going to make Charlie extremely happy.
