Sup everyone, it's been a while since I posted here

Anyways, just recently everytime I connect my iPhone to my Pioneer AVH-P3300BT via USB I keep getting a small "popping" sound through my speakers.
but when I connect by Aux. it sounds perfectly clean.

I cleaned the USB port and changed the USB cable with another iPhone USB cable that I had laying around the house and the problem wasn't solved.
I had the Pioneer CDI22 (or w/e) cable that transfers both Audio and video, and I gave that a try but nope it wasn't perfect. Although I noticed less popping sounds with the CDI cable

anyone have any clue on what could possibly be going on? I'd much rather use USB than Aux because I get to choose what I wanna hear on the touch screen and it charges my phone

sounds like the usb port is damaged to me.

Unless it happened spontaneously.
Because I never fiddle around with the USB port. I always have the USB cable plugged in there.
and I always take great care of ALL my electronics

could be from bass or anything. i would of figured it was a cable issue but you said you tried a second with the same issue. let someone try their phone with it and see if it still does it and that will rule out your phone.

Plug in and play music off of a thumb drive. See if problem stkll exists.

Ok so!
I played the same song (Aston Martin Music by Rick Ross/Drake) on both my phone and my flash drive.
My iPhone - the popping sound was present
Flash drive - popping sound was gone!!!

So I know there is nothing wrong with the USB on the pioneer. I'm gonna give the same song to my room mate with an iPhone and see if the problem still exists.
I'm pretty sure the problem started when I jail broke my phone 2 weeks ago ><
