Higher my RPM's go, the faster/more my headlights/other lights start to pulse.
My battery light is on, and the higher my RPM's are, the faster that light flashes.

Battery or Alternator or Other (Grounds, etc)?

I havent taken my DMM out yet, but I'm guessing the alternator.

i would say alternator to.

This plus maybe a ground

lights flickered in my hyundi when the alt was going

they wanted over 200$ for a new 80 amp alt lol :|

way to check if its the alt is put a volt meter on the battery while the cars running

if shes under 13 volts the alts pooched

whats the batteries resting voltage?

Haven't even tested yet. My tool box is in storage, and my DMM is in the box.

Car still starts just fine though.

Light dimming can happen with almost anything ground is the most common or vehicle wiring can also be another. Have you checked your wires from the alt to battery and from the engine to chassis? Or the ground from your battery to your frame? Have you done the "big 3" yet? Also what does your voltage drop to on full tilt? Normally anything lower than 12-13v will cause major dimming. I had this same issue and put a new battery in and STILL had dimming but my voltage stayed around 13.5-14v so it wasn't battery or alternator. So unless you're dropping some heavy voltage it's NOT your alternator and even if that's the case a new battery could be a very beneficial temporary "band-aid." I would recommend testing your voltage full tilt and then going from there.

IF you're not running more than 1000w then you don't NEED a new alternator.

Its in my 240 which doesnt have a system, just the OEM tape deck. Its when my RPM's go higher, its starts to surge. I havent even tested it yet because I'm too lazy + I worked a lot this week.

Oh in that case most likely your alternator could be going... Do your drive through dirt fields or water? Sometimes the brushes get dirt in them it happened to me we had the brushes cleaned @ napa and it was fine after. I was dropping so low my engine light was coming on and I didnt have a system eigther.
