Fiancee is looking in to getting her self a 2002 cav.

we are going to look at it today but before i go is there anything specific that are known issues that i should look for ?

any help is appreciated

I have a 2001 Cavilier that I bought at 70k miles. It's now at 210k miles and runs pretty much like the day I bought it.
I beat the PISS out of that thing too. Nearly 70k of those miles I put on were pizza delivery miles, driving it like a race car.

I wasn't looking to spend much money, so I clipped the harness and hard wired it. I would suggest buying the harness though.

Im pretty sure 02 doesnt have that feature

The simple harness for the deck, whether you have OnStar or not, is expensive.
