So if I get my ride with the stock system instead of dropping $850 for the premium sound what can I/should I get with the dough? I generally listen to rock and a little electronic very occasional rap. I don't want gnarly bass just really crisp clean sounds...I have to admit that I was pretty pleased with the bang & olufson system that came as the premium upgrade but I've been told that I can do better with aftermarket shit....so any suggestions?

while you can do better the problem is its a 2012 audi. it will easily be $300 in labor and $200 for installation accessories.

the cost to replace is just a bit too high for that many speakers and stuff.

grab the optional premium if you enjoyed it. its simply not worth the headache if you are wanting to stay in the same price range.
