I have a digital media receiver and it stopped playing sound.. it was always very hot guessing it wasn't grounded right.. was gonna ground it but never got around to it.. could it be the amplifier inside the deck is burnt out or what?

Is there and thing i could do to make this thing play music again? i sure do miss having a radio i mean a simple radio station would make my day lol.. it also has the red and white aux ports in back.. is it possible for me to hook up alt speakers to that or would that not work either?

I cracked the case to see if any obvious damage but nothing I could notice from eye site... Just looking for a solution!

Thanks A lot in advance.

Everything works but the sound. the most expensive and important part i'm sure.. but just looking into how one would fix this? I know its possible but is it worth it...? and how would I do it?

Also do the aux outs in the back put out audio? it sends the amp the same thing it would send speakers correct? jw if i hooked up some speakers to them would it work..?

Looking for something that has no real cost too it..

pre-amp outputs are there to allow connection to amplfiers. they don't do anything without an amplifier on the other end.

this is a problem that is fixed with replacement not repair.
