Hey so I just got a 12 Inch Kicker L5 and I'm not really sure what amp to go with it that wouldn't cost me too much and will still slap, any ideas?

2 or 4 ohm voice coils?

Uh I'm not sure on ohms

willing to spend up to 200 but less would be nice

without knowing the voice coil ohms there isn't anything i can do for you.

I'm pretty sure it's 2 ohms

well they come in 2 and 4 ohm versions so without knowing for sure you could fry the amp or blow the sub if you are wrong.

How can I check? I just bought it off a guy this weekend

it should have a model number somewhere on the back of the sub. it will be like 08s12l5X the x will be either a 2 or a 4.

Walmart amp. Nn a good amp for kicker IMO it isn't going to hit clean either way.
