I had an older pair of kickers in my 04 cavalier a few years back powered by a cheap rockwood amp.
and they pounded good, no distortion and they were really loud.

They are meant for spl not sq.

They are made to be loud, not clean. They make a ton of bass but sound like shit.

Mine sounded perfectly fine to me...
No distortion and it sounded clean for me.

compared to what?

clearly you haven't heard a good spl sub if you think kickers have good spl.

there are people out there that think L series sound clean...

and pioneer bullets aren't much better quality.
