I'm hooking up my subwoofers to my home stereo, but there's barely anything coming out of the subs.
i've played with the gain and freq. but nothing helps.
i checked the pos and neg connections and its all right.

so what the fuck is going on.

also, i dont know if this is related, but when i listen to the radio on the stereo i have to turn it up to like fucking 20-25 out of 30 to fucking hear it properly.
i know the radio is a different volume then listening to auxiliary but that's just dumb.

you need more power to the subs.

my amp is plenty of power for those subs,
i had it in my truck, and both of my old cars.
plus i had it hooked to this stereo before too.

all those times they pounded

what is powering the amp?

the only wiring is the speaker wire..
the setup i have now, worked perfectly fine before.
it's a computer PSU.

how many watts is the psu?

not really familiar with this method. kookymunsta is i think.

The psu you're using isn't big enough. You need one that puts out a higher wattage.

The PSU is big enough.
it's 480 watts, 23 amps.
It powered them perfectly before and nothing at all has changed.
Don't try telling me it's not big enough

Ok just because it worked before doesn't mean shit, 480/23 is still not big enough.

What size wires do you have powering your amp and what size ground are you using?
