got these a while ago for free and im not to car audio savvy i was wondering what brands they were and if they are any good and if the amp is any good or if i should get a new one.

also need a song or two to test them i just tuned the deck into a local station that plays club/dance/rap music to test them out.

This.

The Concept is so old that I can't find any info on that model after 10 minutes of looking.
Both are pretty decent brands though, so if they were well taken care of and stored well they may be worth installing.

pretty sure its 500rms@2 ohms.

carstereo.com is a good place for old specs cause they archive old post rather than deleting.

but ya its like 2000-2003 area.

and for OP. that amp is only half power for those subs.

That sounds about right. A decent brand 1000x2@2 Ohm is usually in the ballpark.

have any recommendations of amps that i should install?

also since the person i got them from fixed the amp to the side of the box would it change the sound if i dont plug those holes by either remounting the newer amp there or plugging them in some how?

edit:: also how would i tell how many ohms they are set at?

i'd have to double check the sub specs. i think they are 500rms a piece but i'm not 100% on it.

mounting the amp on the box is a last resort.

drywall puddy or bondo are the usual things people fill mdf in with but its pretty much opinion based.

how its wired will determine its ohm load. it also depends on the voice coil ohm loads.

i'm assuming they are wires to 2 ohms but i can't know for sure.
