nope. adapter plates only help you go from larger to smaller sizes.

you can make them with mdf,i converted by 6x8 into a 6x9

This.

Stock door speaker mounts in my car were 5 1/4...I wanted to upgrade to 6 3/4 components, so I simply removed the stock plastic 5 1/4 mounts and made new ones out of MDF.
