Just picked up an 01 GT for $4k with 43,000 on it from a buddy who is back from AFG and hates driving.
This baby is mint, and I mean fucking clean, fresh, nothing wrong. It was stored during his 4 tours and always stored professionally, never saw salt or snow.

What should I mod on this bad boy? I want the best sound system, best subs, best everything. Short shifter, headers, turbo, twin turbo, or super charger. I believe if I turbo it then I need to swap the motor no? It can't handle the psi stock. Best cat back, etc etc. I'd research myself but I have no time between work, boozing, fam, etc. Find me everything for all my fg to the most complete post. Links, prices, etc.

I don't want to drop 103k on this. But I want a mean machine. I just sold my 2011 GTI instead of storing it.

IMO your gonna have to choose performance vs sounds. If you want a sick ass sound system youll be adding 2-3-4 hundred pounds of goods weighing down the fuck outta your ride. You cant have the best of both worlds lol.

Alright. Well let's see here... I like blowing by chodes at lights or on the highway. Just the douchers in their V-Tecs or BMWs who think the fart can on their whip is a good option. I also like to feel that bump of a hella badass system... Hmm....

Well i would just get a single aq 12 dual 2 ohm coil and an aq1200.

if you are looking to engine swap why bother with an eclipse at all? its fwd and fwd+lots of hp=shit

leave it stock and it will at least be halfway reliable DD. if you mod it will be a money pit especially once you add a turbo.

I have a pretty decent sound system and I haven't noticed a difference in how fast my vehicle is with it vs without it.

upgrade internals of motor. single turbo. aftermarket intercooler/exhaust/etc..and the weight isnt that big of a difference. its not like the weight is going to slow you down THAT much. i have 300lbs of car audio in my 93 civic cx boosted b18b1 and i havent noticed a difference of speed with/without the system
