Reason why I'm going for the 2011 over the 2012 is because the center gps/ media center in the 2012 is the brains of the suv. If that is takin out then the whole car shuts down.

So here is basically my question. I originally wanted and new BMW m3 but I just moved to north Dakota and a car probably isn't going to be the best idea... So I need something that uses all 4's and is higher off the ground.

I don't plan on doing anything to the terrain except maybe tint the windows and larger rims.

The biggest thing I have wanted to do to any vehicle I get is put a system into it.. And this is something I have never done before.

My question is what is an awesome company that has quality and longevity of their product. I am willing to throw about $6,000 into this suv on a system only (along with a legit media center and amp of my choice instead of the factory one in the 2012 version)

Any thoughts where to get something... I'm clueless when it comes to this but I want it to be loud but heavy bass at the same time... Something I can hear and feel from a distance if I wanted to crank it.

Any help is appreciated.

Btw I'm buying this brand new in a couple weeks.

Thats a fucking nasty budget, Do you want rear passenger seats?, How much space exactly do you have to work with

Im thinking 2 18's or 2 15's, or 4 if you got enough space..... either Fi btl n2's or Aq HDC4's, both are low end monster subs.

Of course you will want an alternator or 2, High output look into DC Power, Mechman or Excessive amperage. As for batteries i would get a bunch of XS Power d3100s. Keep your system a 12v system dont go 14v or 16v too many problems.

As for amps that depends on how many subs, i would recomend 1 or 2 AQ 3500d.1's or sundown SAZ3500s , Once you know exactly what you can fit i can tell you exactly what could work....

Your going to wants lots of 0 gauge wiring 75+ feet, a big 3 upgrade, at least 2 runs of 0 front to back, Knu koncepts makes good wire really affordable...

Now on to mids and highs.... i 100 percent recomend getting one or 2 crescendo 1000c4's, they do 110 rms at 4 ohms, get some selenium 6's and super tweets. This amp is ear peircing and will keep up with whatever bass you have.

Even after everything i think your going to have a lot of cash left over lol

Everything ive recommended ive either used or heard personally.

If price isn`t an issue, check out Pioneer`s new Stage 4 stuff: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Stage4

I used a lot of the last generation Pioneer Premier stuff that got integrated into their Stage 4 line in my car, and it is amazing stuff...in particular the old Pioneer TS-C720PRS component system was highly regarded as one of the best car speakers for the money...and now in the Stage 4 line, Pioneer has upgraded the same set to the TS-C172PRS with an option to add in a 3rd mid range component speaker.

Their new head unit, the DEX--P99RS is also an incredible HU, though it`s just a CD player...and I know you said you`re looking for a multi-media player. But if anything, I`d go with the Stage 4 component speakers and amps.
