I checked out the whole build. It's for 15" BTL's. Really fucking sexy.
Its a sexy ass box i agree but he spent 100 worth of fiberglass to 45 all the corners yet he didnt bother to double baffle the faceplate, The btls are gonna flex it like a mofo lol

Correct, it's being relocated, the entire truck is going through a complete tear down
As far as low profile subs go, he's a big guy and needs all the space he can get which involves getting seats that are too low to allow for any room
And for cadallac and kookymunst thank you for the answers, only final question is, he wants the subs and amp to be visible through the box which means they have to face the rear is this going to create sound problems? (I know in car trunks you face them backwards for the sound to bounce off the trunk but does this hold true if you are using a thin piece of plywood/plexyglass?
Thanks again guys
subs shouldnt be firing back in the bed of a truck.... You want them to send the sound pressure forward and theres to little height/volume in your bed to create decent sound, Plexiglass is notoriously hard to work with and it doesnt hold in pressure nearly as well as mdf or birch.
I know steve meade did a build with plexiglass a while ago, i wouldnt use plexi unless your a fucking master of fabrication.
Heres a build using plexi in a excalade pickup similar to what your thinking
