I was looking to buy these and return my Turtle Beach X41's...but are they worth the money or is there better for the same price?
I've heard of Astro A40's but researching em didn't give me too much info... + they are something like 80 bucks more expensive

Any audiophiles out there lmk

Meh, they're all right. If you're getting Astros for a gaming console they're definitely worth it imo, but if you're buying a gaming headset for PC gaming it's a waste of money. You can get nice PC headphones + a basic microphone for $100 and have them preform just as well as Astro A40's.

I use A40's when I play Xbox and they're very nice. Much better than any TB's or Trittons I've ever used.

I'm really trying to compare TB PX5's vs. Astro A40's....if anyone could tell me the difference in their features/sound and optimally someone who's tried them both

Do you have to buy the mixamp with it as well?

I've used turtle beaches and they're garbage.
i used trittons and i had the second last most expensive pair and it sounded fucking amazing.

oh well...for price i ended up going with PX5's

checked out reviews and comparisons...while astro set may have edge in sound quality over tb set, tb set offers many more features
