I just recently bought a car off of someone and it already had a cd player and a equalizer in it. When I turn the cd player off or the car and then back on it resets all my setting and ejects the cd and I have to configure the bass, treble etc all over again. Is there a wire that is not connect or a fuse that is missing/blown? I had to replace the fuses for the equalizer but cannot find the problem for the cd player.

the memory wire isn't hooked up right or at all. go buy a new wiring harness for the car to cover all your bases.

The mem wire is for some reason not connected along with about 4 other wires.

I think the guy that owned the car was on crack when he set it up. It is soooo confusing and looks horrible in the back.
