Was thinking about getting a an 8" or 10" sub because the one i have seems to have little life left
i was wonder about powering a car amp using a computer power supply
roughly a 400~1000 watt amp
ive got two power supples, but i doubt they will be enough
~what would be a sufficient power supply to power a 400~1000 watt amp

What iv found works REALLY well is finding those self powered boxes, and putting car woofers in them

well the old sub woofer box is a 135 watt one...

I had. Cap, 500 watt psu with a 800 watt amp pushing two 12's. If you need any help with any of this pm me lol. I got pretty pro at nigger rigging stuff like that.

Ive got 2 12" pioneers abd a 500w rms amp . i had it powered using just a 450 w psu. worked awesome.

That's not true, I had a 800 watt max amp so maybe like 400 rms with a 500 watt psu and it would drop to 10 volts on hard hits. The capacitor helped a hole lot and helped it stay steady at 12.3 volts

all u need to look at is the amps.
get at least a PSU with 25 Amps and u should be fine.
