I recently bought a 2001 Honda Accord V6 and the previous owner had a sub kit in the back. Now its just wires. Please help me identify what they are and what type of subs/amps should i buy? Is the wire on my car battery a capacitor? There is a total of 6 raw wires and 2 sets of input and output.

I'd redo it all. Its beginner work anyways, you can tell because of the tape on the wires + a black power wire (so not cool).

remove em all. the wire coming off your battery is a basic power wire. the blue ones with round end are rcas. the double wires are just speaker wire.

new kit will only cost $30(more if u want to spend more). then you know its done right and what it all does.

what kind of budget do you have to buy sub and amp?

And one of those clear wires is probably a remote turn on wire...looks like an abortion. Junk it all. Keep that fuse block tho, it's not bad. RCA's look dirt cheap too.

even the fuse block is too small to run any real amperage

60A glass fuse max. Could run a small system. But ya blade fuse would be mucho gusta'er
