for your sub to smell on the first run? i was bumping it and i started to smell a weird rubbery smell and im thinking its just the rubber thingy inside heating up?

is it a new sub?, and trust me youll know if your voice coil is burning. It smells terrible like rotten bodies.

never had any smell from NEW woofers unless i went full volume without breaking them in

yeah i think it was burning a little :/ is that really bad?

ya... make sure you have the bassboost shit on ur HU way down along with +SRC signal. Feel it after a while to see if its warm.

u should wait probably 3 weeks of decent volume playing befor u try and get any real excursion outta that woofer
