I know this is odd to be posting on here, but i can't get any help else where. If any of you know the reason for this please let me know?

I have a Cadence 1,000 watt amp. it's hooked up to 2x 10 inch fosgate subs. I've had it hooked up for a week or so. Today i was going down the road and my system shutoff and i smelled a electrical burning smell. The power light and everything is still on. I just can't get the amp to produce sound through my subs

its possible you wired it down to below 1 ohm where most amps are not stable and it blew. If it smells fried chances are its completely gone...

He probably did this. If the subs are DVC 4 ohm subs, you probably wired it to 1 ohm, in which the amp probably wasnt 1 ohm stable.

What kind of amp was it?
