so i own a mach edition ford focus that comes stock with like upgraded interior, 2 amps and a 10".
i want to install some cathodes or LEDS on the interior like under my steering wheel so my mats glow.

anyone know a really easy guide for someone who has never done this before?

my main problem is finding out where to connect it to the power?

Just get LED tubes and ziptie them up under the dash. Wire them up to your battery.

wow ur a retard u never hook them up to ur battery u always fuse tap them into a accessory that shuts off on the timer after u turn ur car off

+1 for fuse box under your dash if your REALLY lazy

i'm not lazy, i want it to correspondent with my car's lights. so when i turn my car's lights on when it gets dark out, it comes on when they come on.

any way that can be done?
or if not just a toggle switch?

fuse tap it into the headlight fuse or toggle switch easiest way to do it

I've done the battery with an external switch multiple times.

I myself wired mine right up to my amplifier, so I didnt need to do any of that.

its idiot proof to fuse tap u take the red power wire stick it in where the headlight fuse goes then put the fuse back in it will hold it in place there then find a nice clean metal surface with a bolt on non painted perfered and ground out the black wire at it
