1: What is the Year, Make, and Model of the vehicle. 2004 g35 coupe
2: What is your budget? willing to go up to a $1000 ish. maybe mroe or less just trying to get the best bang for my buck
3: What exactly do you want your outcome to be? (Good sounding music, or loud bass?) definietely more into the quality of my music, but a sharp crisp base is exactly what im looking for. dont need it to hit ridiculously hard.
4: And specific sub sizes that you prefer more than others? not sure
5: How much trunk space do you want to use up?g35 trunks are already tiny so just whatever fits. wouldnt be able to get my spare out of the trunk because i've had a few flat tire problems and already kind of paranoid
6: What type of features are you looking for in a CD Player (aka Head Unit)? head unit just something nice and comfy i imagine i need a new cover (since i cant carve for crap and would fail at carving mine to fit the headunit) if anything has a portable amp (probs not i use these on my headphones thought so not sure)
7: What type of music do you listen to? house , a little bit of dub, electro, rap, rnb, funk practically everything but country. i guess driving music would be MOSTLY house type music just because i need it to stay awake
8: Is your stock stereo system amplified? (You may or may not know this): its stock
9: Do you have Steering Wheel Controls? (Volume/Seek on the steering wheel) yes. yes i do


i do know a bit about headphone audio if that helps, but have had no experience with car audio whatsoever since i've never had a car worth changing the stock audio for.

The mounting kits for those cars are expensive, just a heads up. Locally its like $300.

yea i noticed haha damm g35 everythings pricey, but whatever i can pitch in a few extra bills if needed.
just gotta sell some of my stocks :[

i dont work, full time college student so i'd be unable to go too much over my budget of 1k.
i don't even need everything at once can take my time to build my setup, just looking for some advice.

my advice is dont get subs i had some for a while and booming bass gets annoying i sold them but if i ever got anything it would just be one 12" or something but it gets old fast

well i was sniffing around and people have like on/off switches.
i'm considering spending a little more on new speakers, head units

i prefer some base dont need anything crazy strong since i feel it takes away from the music.

like headphones people who prefer dr. Dre's (overpriced pieces of crap imo. base ruins everything for me)

base isn't anywhere near as strong but the sound is so much better (less than half the price too(
