I'm buying alpine type s for my truck and they need 0.6 cubic feet for air space MINIMUM with a 1.5 MAXIMUM, and the box I'd be building would be 0.84 say, is that good enough for no?

wedge box will be 19 inches wide, 10 inches, down to 7" on the slant, than 12 inches deep

also if i have Alpine MP3 / WMA CD Car Deck With iPod Control (CDE-126BT) hu can i use an external hard drive or?

type s's are yuck, go with a type r and it will blow you away, but yes that box would work.

i use a usb drive straight into the usb input to play my tunes so im pretty sure you could too as long as it doesnt require any drivers to be installed.

A type r would work in a sealed enclosure and is worth the price difference 1000%

and they are easily accessible, those aren't.


than with more wattage comes needing a better amp.. and unlike people on here I dedicate money to other things rather than just car audio..
