Hello, I posted a message a while back and got some really helpful answers regarding how to get an iPod plugged into a car sterio that has not iPod jack.

What I am looking at now is a new unit to be installed but wondering if any of you have had past experience or any prior knowlesdge to the

Kenwood - 50W x 4 MOSFET AppleĀ® iPodĀ®-Ready In-Dash CD Deck

ECLIPSE CD1200-G 2-DIN CD/MP3/AUX/USB Player Car Stereo

The Kenwood was around $200 which is fine I guess but would rather spend less and get something else with the money I save for my car.

If both these units suck let me know too, just talked to some guy at a car audio store and maybe he just wanted to get rid of inventory.

Note: I do not want small units anything this size is great!

I've had great luck with Eclipses but that's early or pre 2000's. That Eclipse is pretty gaudy tho I must admit. I'd get a single din and maybe a single din spectrum analyzer to fill the gap.

Alright good deal. I like the simplicity of the eclipse as well. Large volume wheel and big enough buttons to see.

Eclipses are great, just know that they stopped producing car audio. Its all still warrantied, but its a repair warranty, not a replacement.

Fujitsu Ten! I loved them. Always basic with high pre outs, very high quality sound. I miss mine dearly, but it was stolen (like the other 2 I had before it)

Yea they're good shit. Just know that whoever stole it from you never got a use out of it. Eclipse decks have top of the line security.
