i have a pioneer DEH-P300 in my car, the display works, only the backlight does not work so i can' see the clock or anything at night.

friend who gave me the radio said there's a button combination you can press to turn the light on but he hasn't used it in years and forgets. there is absolutely no information online about this.

anyways, if anyone can help me solve this problem i'll throw them 30fg.

if it was user controller it should of been cleared when the power was disconnected. i would assume its broken given its age.

if its not there it probably doesn't exist. try holding down display and hitting other buttons and see what happens.

bought a backlit velcro digital clock instead at walmart for 10bux.
