Finally getting ready to do my install...
1 audio pipe 3000
3 alpine type rs
2 runs of 0 gauge (might do 1)
Shuriken bt 100 (2 in the trunk)

I'm not sure if I should do a bandpass or ported box
And if i should make the ports come through the back where the 6x9s are at...
This is on my 09 impala btw.
And what should I tune to....I was thinking 29hz or 32hz

Nice,29 is a lil low imo and youll struggle with the higher notes, go 32-34 you can slam the lows while being able to hit a full range of frequencies. Type r's arent designed for bandpass enclosures i would just make a generic ported box sub and port firing back. Also if your rear seats fold down you can seal off the trunk and have em firing forward and it would be louder then a trunk box. Id would be hard to do with 3 10s but heres an example.

Same with my car, it would be louder in a trunk box port and subs backwards. Dont to ports thru the rear center stage.
