I have many car amps from 350W to 1200W RMS laying around along with subs and i am trying to find them a use.

I google for a good tutorial/guide about hooking a car amp + sub to my HDTV / computer and found only forums with unclear conversations and facts/steps.

As i understand the problem is around the 240V AC vs 12V DC

You can use a pc powesupply, ac/dc power converter or battery charger to power the amp then just run rcas into the tv audio input from your amp. If you do use a pc powersupply be sure the rated wattage output is near however much rms you will be pushing. When finished you want to bridge the power from your 12v input to the remote on your amp so it knows when to turn on.

if you want more detailed help lmk
