Spent next to nothing for these and they work, so my question is will the subs/amp work together?

Thats more of a speaker amp than a sub amp imo but u could run subs on it since it has the frequency filters, the lower the impedance the more power to your subs. run it at 2 ohm if u can... but i dont understand the difference between 2 ohm and 2 ohm max ive never seen that terminology on any amplifier... maybe someone else here knows.

also no the amp is not strong enough to run those subs it will burn out quick as hell.

an xbox 360 I didn't want anymore and couldn't sell for 100 bucks on craigslist. The friend I bought it off of totaled his car a few months back and proposed the trade. Either way, because I'm getting a new car within the month and don't want to void the warranty by installing this setup I'll probably just resell it. What Kind of amp would you recommend?

honestly i wouldn't bother. you traded extra junk for extra junk. craigslist the stuff for whatever you can get and buy something worth having.
