I have 2g welding cable for my cap to amp pos & neg :-) but I too have always wondered how well it would work in place of audio power wire.. I imagine if it worked any better people wouldn't use audio power wire.. lol

And welding wire gives you more copper and less insulation.
But the flex is a lot less then audio wire.

I'd get knu like stated... Cheap and good... It's
A personal preference I believe..

ty for replys, i found a rockford fosgate 0 guage wiring kit brand new on craigslist for 100 bucks, it was a steal :D and i got an extra fuse holder now

1000 watts will kill mostly any sub you get, unless you wanna spend big money on a top dollar sub.
