When i wire my car I'm going to have a switch built into my remote wire somewhere hidden so when i have a headache or something i can turn my subs off :)

glove compartment, arm rest, center console, near your light switch/knob, near your radio, or if your really skilled->your steering wheel

Probably will put in somewhere in the center console next to the shifter, And that reminds me, i gotta buy the adapter for my steering wheel so the controls work with my HU :O

Damn, does it really have 2" tweets in the front stock?

Metra makes something called ASWC, its like $80 and used in most steering wheel control systems.

Yeah, but I'm going to take those out and put my aftermarket ones there, or possibly just unhook those and put aftermarkets elsewhere, i don't like their placement too much. I was told the sound " reflects off the glass" tho so idk...

The remote and the power wire are the exact same thing; 12v positive wires, that's why they can be ran together. The RCA's will pick up feedback from them if the RCA's aren't ran alone. We had a crazy weird problem like this with salt spreader wiring being too close to the master cylinder at the shop..

RCA's need to be ran separately.

But thats why you use split loom.

Anyone got opinions on using 0 gauge welding wire vs 0 guage car audio power wire, i heard they are about the same just the welding is less flexible but possibly even more conductive. The only car audio shops in my area are overpricing it to $4 a foot so id rather find an alternative.
