ported boxes are fairly hard to build compared to sealed boxes.

design for ported box will depend on the speaker you plan to use and the frequency you want to tune it to.

sealed boxes are fairly simple. you basically just build them to fit the subs recommended internal volume. there are calculators you can use to find out if a box is going to have the right internal volume based on width/depth/height.

those are the suggest length and width of the port. that will be the length and width of the port you build in the interior of the box

the frequency your going to tune is going to depend on the amplifier you have powering your subs and the gauge of the wires you have going from your amplifier to your subs.

as in which way to face the port coming out of the box? usually faces the same way as the sub. on the side is fine to i just wouldn't face it up or the opposite direction of the sub to keep the sound clean.

if its going to be similar to the current box then the only real choice is right by the subs. amp is going to be smaller so should have plenty of room for it.

well that isn't my car, its just a picture of a car like my, hard to find a trunk picture of it idk why, where that box is it goes down

just design it to face the same way as the subs as long as you have room.
