The thing is you're not wrong in that aspect I've stated many times that mp3's lack minor SQ elements but NOTHING at all audable to ANYONE's ears so why the fuck does it matter? and it's not going to do a damn thing to your SPL numbers gauranteed or else they wouldn't allow ipods at events and people wouldnt run them that are religious with competing that spend 20k+ on their systems and are 40 years old. The point is you told me to get rid of the ipod because I was losing lows and numbers and you could audibly hear it. Well going from my Young Jeezy CD to my Jeezy on my ipod is no difference other than the fact that my IPOD is AUDABLY louder due to the SLA settings. So why the hell do I care? also like I said LOUD people can't play CD's because they skip even though I've used expanding foam, metal brackets and deadener to stop it from skipping and it still does and so did my alpine before it so drop it lol
Which is why I told you to get a podium. I forget you're still in the music stage. If you're burping with tones, and the mp3 format no longer has that frequency due to it benig compressed, its obviously going to be a problem.
Play Jeezy on your ipod, then get a correct wav format of it and throw it on a podium. I bet you see minor improvements

Doesn't matter to me regardless since I know the difference is very little... too early for me to be arguing anyways. So let's move on.
So now you're saying there is a difference? In the SPL world, even dB counts, ESPECIALLY once its 150+.
