youre amp will be the highest prioritiy in your system, not your sub, not your box, not youre anything amp amp amp amp amp

buying a subwoofer before buying the amp is acceptable, and obviously the amp you buy will be more important than the subwoofer you just bought

why?
Because most audio shops like to buy in bulk from commercial companies and charge 5x price you can pay online
people who buy equipment from audio shops = even worse than people who waste their life working at one.

ported if you want louder bass at limited frequencies(best choice if you listen to rap/hip hop most of the time)
