three MAIN reasons why I chose that over the pioneer p3300

1) I got the Kenwood for 198 (retail is 299) and the pioneer would've been 303 with discount (retail 450). So the price was cheaper
2) I can see myself getting frustrated at trying to fuck around with the touch screen while driving. And DVD player = completely useless for me in the car. it's simply there to show off
3) the installation is cheaper too. it's 68 bucks for a video installation and it's 29 for a regular single din installation

I'm really liking all the features on the Kenwood though.. just wish best buy carried the BT900
but it's got USB and auxiliary on the back, so u don't have to mess with wires hanging from the front of your deck. And it has bluetooth + mic.. I don't see myself using it much but whatever
where do people usually mount their mics at???

mostly i see them ran up the a column and around the sun visor. you can mount it on the steering column as well just depends on your height.

Only thing I'm waiting on now is the cvx sub + remote bass control! Shits gonna be humpin n jumpin in my car haha

I think I'm gonna put the bass control under the steering column/by my knees and the mic I wanna have it up high somewhere. I might even put it on the sun visor. idk yet

visor is a good spot since you can move it down if you need it closer to you.

nah best buy doesn't do dB testing. atleast I haven't heard anyone doing it there.
yeah visor would be good too, I could hide the wire on the side panel or whatever it's called. but we'll see
