http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2SVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg

both are 4 ohm, but want to see if i cant get more power out of a smaller amp like i said before

(gonna be using a 400 watt 4 channel amp)

gonna use the last 2 channels for my front two 4ohm speakers

Yup.

now would i truly be better off getting a 2 channel and just bridging it for the 6x9's or getting a 4 channel to power all four

If your front speakers sound like ass right now with them un-amp'd then you may as well try it.
I haven't ever had my mids amp'd but I sure would love to. Just can't afford it right now..
I keep the lows turned down on my deck and the mids/highs turned up so the mid-range speakers don't pick up much bass.

well, i wanted to see if a 400 watt amp (SSL F4.400 FORCE 400W, 4 Channel Power Amplifier), would i be better off bridging the back to give the 6x9's more power or just leave it at the 50 watts rms (the rms on the 6x9's are 2-80, and a max of 460)

Amp'ing them at all will help a butt-load. I think you should amp all four of them with a 4-channel amp. That's what I'd do.
Idk man, up to you though.

Indeed brother, thinking about

Sundowns 12s

some customs DC audio level 4's

MTX T9512 thunder 9500's

all will be able to power up at 3k rms which is my limit but not peak... need to run clean clean power from now on.
