the word component means both. individually they are a mid-bass(range, woofer) and a tweeter.

when you buy a component speaker system you buy a mid and a high not just a mid like you claimed.

Yes but a coaxial has the tweeter on the same platform/speaker hence coaxial, component is a separate tweeter and mid-driver which is what I was saying the way Subwoofer said it was basically saying the tweeter was built onto the mid driver like a coaxial is.

I've stated many times that a tweeter is needed for highs in most cases why would I claim tweeters aren't part of the equation for components? I'm just saying they aren't sold together and they aren't one unit like a coaxial, how the hell was I wrong?
